Our Story
Cassette.tech was created so that people could share their songs and playlists with the world. Music is the only global language. With increased globalization, top songs are heard everywhere. Why should we be limited by our music streaming providers?
We want to make it easier than ever for people to share the music they love.
Prologue
The co-founders of Cassette.tech are childhood friends who love to share music with each other. After moving away from their hometown, they experienced difficulties when sharing music over the internet. The major problem is that not everyone subscribes to the same music streaming service. Brian and Matt saw an opportunity to create a music-sharing service that solves the problem of converting music across platforms.
Chapter 1
Brian and Matt have used every service out there to convert music from one streaming service to the next. The current music conversion tools focus on transitioning from one music payment plan to another, not sharing music online. In 2021, we began our journey by creating a Reddit community focused on the sharing of playlists in an online forum.
Our MVP
Our online community r/ProjectListen was created to showcase the need for our conversion services. Our goal is to create an online place for people to share music, regardless of streaming service.
